A bit about me

I’m Paul, a dog photographer based in Cheshire.

I’ve been a photographer for almost 20 years, but for most of that time it lived alongside a career in IT. Eventually, I realised the moments I valued most were the simple ones — being outdoors, spending time with dogs, and creating something meaningful — so I decided to make photography the focus of my working life.

I share my life with two whippets, and a lot of my happiest time is spent out walking with them. That relaxed, outdoor way of being shapes how I photograph dogs.

Rather than formal poses or studio setups, my sessions are built around easy walks in familiar places. There’s no pressure for your dog to perform or behave perfectly. I work at their pace, capturing natural expressions, movement, and the little details that show who they really are.

Clients often tell me the session feels more like a good walk and chat with a fellow dog walker than a photoshoot. There’s no rushing, no awkwardness, and no hard selling — just a calm experience and photographs that feel honest and personal.

I keep everything straightforward and transparent, from how sessions run to how they’re priced. My aim is simple: to create photographs you’ll genuinely love, while making the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free.

If that sounds like your kind of thing, I’d love to meet you and your dog.
